Jean's love for cinematography blossomed early in his life, starting at the age of 14 when he began taking photographs in his parents' garage. Driven by a burning passion, his dream of becoming a director of photography was born.

After 17 years as a camera assistant, beginning in 1996 as a camera loader and gradually rising through the ranks to become a camera operator, Jean had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the most respected names in the industry.

In 2014, he embarked on his journey as a director of photography, exploring various genres from documentaries to short films and B-movies. His first mainstream television series came in 2016, and since then, he has continued to take on new projects.
